What Is This Wire? Help Please!!!

Hi All. I pulled the motor out of my 89 240 and had it rebuilt as well as the transmission. I now have everything back in and it wont turn over. I looked closely back at everything and noticed that there is a loose plug. This plug comes from the wiring harness that hooks to the auto transmission. Most of that bundle plugged in to the side of the fuse box. My loose plug has 2 wires. A black and a Pink (it could be light pink). These are large wires, so I figure it may have something to do with the ignition. It Comes out right by the fuse box but i cant find anything to plug it into. Any ideas?

Yes you need those wires hooked up. There's a plug at the bottom of the fuse box for that one IIRC.
