What is this wire for??? Help please!

Alright whats up everyone. So I recently picked up my first coupe and i popped my hood and found this cut wire and i dont know what it's for?? It hasent affected anything yet so im stumped so any help would be greatly appreaciated. Thanks!!

Probably from the previous owner wiring up a system. Use a Voltmeter and see if there's power to it.

Thats an aftermarket wire that looks to have been disconnected.

deffinately an amp power wire sir. see the way the gromett for the wiring harness is split for it to feed through? look in your trunk it should be coming out back there somewhere.
