what is this tube on top of the intake box is it an AIT sensor?

its some sort of vacuum line, hard to tell where it goes but i think it goes to the top of the intake manifold

im just wondering because im about to buy an intake adapter and an aem dry flow filter, and the filter has two options, one with a whole for ait sensor or wone with out. i thinking about the one with thte hole so i could put that questionable tube in, it looks like a vacum line.

As long as you put it in the right location, between the filter and the MAF, you should be fine.

I'm looking at those filters as well -- where'd you find the intake adapter?

What size filter are you going with?

i found a 3 inch adapter on ebay but it wasnt the one i was looking for, it fits though. i bought one from autozone and it doesnt fit but it was a 3 inch and it had a little whole for that tube. aem has 5 in. long filters, im going to use one of those.
