What is this trim piece called???

i got an 89 hatch, what is the trim piece called that sits between the hatch and the bumper??? mine has a dent in it, im just wondering what its called??

ok if u look right above the rear bumper you got that peice that runs across the back right below where the hatch shuts, just go look at your car and youll see, i havent realy look at it realy good but it might be part of the bumper, im not sure, but it doesnt look like it at all

well iite i can't really view your point...well cause wen I bought the car they changed the rear bumper with a s13 coupe its diffrent from the original bumper I think I know what your talkin about its lyke a lip but for the top part of the bumber rights??? alright well yeah if your going to replace your bumber juss use that part and put it on it or I guess if you dunt have one then go junkyard or something but yeah thats the upper part of the bumper lyke you said trim I guess iite

no, i beleive what you must be talking about is the piece on the HATCHBACK that sits between the bumper and your taillights. Everyone who goes nuts for the JDM 180sx Type X lights should know this one, because you get this piece when you order them because of the slight differeneces in the lower portion of the tailights...

sorry, i took the liberty of looking up the part number for you, but ill be a mother****er if i have any idea what its called85230-40f00 for 89-9085230-50f00 for 90+ even though im sure they are the same there are two different part numbers
