What is this thing?

It moves air, and I don't think it's the aac valve, because I thought the thing on the back of the intake manifold was the aac...help me out!

AAC valve is correct.

Nope, that's not the AAC. That is the air regulator, which should be wired to the fuel pump relay. It is temperature sensitive, and its function is to let in a bit of bypass air for a faster idle when the engine is cold.

Goofynick, you are right that the AAC is on the back of the intake manifold, by the firewall.

Thanks guys, I think that is stupid though, having an AAC and this thing...I don't know why they couldn't just have one unit do both jobs. I guess I won't eliminate it then.
