What is this?

Can anyone tell me what this part is? It was located in from of the radiator front bracket. Just behind the front steel front bumper. I relocated it up north near the top of the radiator tower because it was in the way of my winch.

Would appreciate some help on this one

That's your external temp sensor for your thermometer.
