Okay in the front of the car where the suspension is. In between the car chassis and the strut mount. There is this orange thingy that goes between the strut mount and chassis so it reduce noise I believe. What is this call?

I'm changing out my shocks and springs and I might as well replace that thing. Any idea? Thanks.

bump stop, it's to keep the stut from bottoming into itself. If your struts are so blown that they hit them though they are junk anyway.

No, he is referring to a thin paper gasket looking thing. I have no idea why it's there. I just remove it. It seemes to be prettile and tends to break when removing the strut anyways.

it may have been a scuff guard. to prevent the mount from rubbing aginst the metal.
