Maybe its chassis specific? every s13 I've worked on has had that. It runs through the harness.

Edit: Scotty, was your car a/t from the factory or m/t from the factory? Now that I think about it, my friends kouki has that as well

Actually, Conno707 do you have an auto transmission? If so, I believe that to be the revolution sensor, inhibitor switch and a/t solenoid harness connectors.

It was a single owner car, the dude didn't even know how to change the oil.
But he claimed was gonna make into a "fast in the furious car" lol
So maybe a shop did it for him. I'll call him.

It powers up all your accessories (in cabin) and your lower harness. You need it. The actual red part just splits the connections.

Can i just cut off the clips and run it directly to the positive cable?
I would think i would be able to because its getting power all the time anyway.

Sorry for digging his back up but exactly how was it done? Cut the red harness off and just ran all wires with the positive terminal wire? And what grounding kit are you talking about? Is the wire long enough to do this?

I'm having trouble with my car and i think corrosion of this harness is the culprit. My car has trouble starting after my lights start constantly flicker while its idle.
