i just need to know what the electrical harness right beside the shifter under the boot is.....does anyone what this is for...thanks

i think you are talking about the wire that goes to the crash/air bag data box.

i dont have an airbag....its only an s13 92.....im only wondering because its not connected

on auto cars, that harness connects to the gear selector. I didn't think manual cars had that part of the harness there.

i think thats it man...because i just did a 5-speed swap and i guess it doesnt need to be plugged in anyymore...thanks man....at least i know what it is now
