i need to know if i can just remove this tube that connects to something on the passenger side of the motor. my downpipe doesnt have any hole to fit this in so can i just remove it. its the pipe that is going into the header. i want to remove it if it is not necessary.

Thats the EGR Tube. You either have to reconnect to the new downpipe, which most people dont do because its hard, or plug it up. I have mine pluged right at the pipe. you can also remove the whole contraption from behind the intake manifold and plug it there, but I was lazy.

this is a S13 KADE correct? if so i believe that the tube is there to revert some exhaust gases back into the intake track. i cant put my finger on what it is call right now but it can be removed but might throw a code. im not too sure if that is it though because it is only found on S13 KAdes not the S14s like mine

a BIG one. I just stuck one in there and jb welded it up so theres no vacuum leak. Its called the EGR (Exhasut Gas Recirculation), it might throw a code.
