What is this? somthing to do with spark plug?

what is this ? title says sparkplug but i think it may be more like something called a "intake balance tube" ? connects to both side of the plenum this is unbolted on my z what goes inside it? lol

nice... your right its a balance tube, AIR goes inside it, you definitly want to get a bolt and a nut if you're missing them, if its not tight i think it would cause a pretty massive vaccum leak so you need the bolts.

the balance tube has to be removed to be able to remove the rear most coilpack, it has o-rings so it will reseal witohut issue once you put a bolt in the hole that is

Thanks that makes sense because someone stole the coil packs out of the car before i bought it.

That sucks that somebody stole the coilpacks. Not sure why they would, they're not ever worth much. I saw a full set on ebay for $40 a few weeks ago, might want to check there if you can't find used ones in classified.
