What is this sensor?

Anbody know what the sensor is for? (see picture)
It's at the back right side of the engine. I broke it off when my pry bar slipped while trying to remove passnger side CV axle.
Gotta get this fixed before snow hits!
Any help is appreciated.

I don't have a Rogue, but that looks like a oil pressure switch.

Agreed, looks like oil pressure sending sensor.

You guys are absolutely right!
Oil pressure sender/switch.
Funny thing is, no problem driving around with it broken or disconnected.
Doesn't cause CEL to light up.
I'll just never know if my oil pressure drops, until it's too late.
