What is this sensor on the airbox? (pic included)

Information on the naturally-aspirated KA24E and KA24DE engines.

This has been broke since day one. The car still run's great even though..

I can't find any info on this part in my FSM. This sensor is located on the side of the airbox

What sensor is this?Where does this sensor plug in...it must be hidden because I can't find it's mate connectorWhere do I buy this?

Air temp sensor... I have unpluged mine and the car still runs the same... I keep it pluged in for good messure. the plug for that is run along with the plug for the MAF

i broke mine off when i bought the car 2 years ago. its been runnin fine without it.

It's the Air Temperature Sensor.
