What is this plug??? Where’s the connector, is there one??

Heyo everyone so like the title says I’m just trying to figure out what this plug is it’s a grey plug that has 7 wires the colors are white, blue, orange,black yellow, black white,green, and black and it’s on the drivers side behind the panel next to the fuses idk where it goes I searched everywhere I was wondering if anyone knew what this wire is and can help me out let me know if you need more info 👍🏻 Much appreciated!

Are you talking about an OBD 1 cable? Is it to the left of the pedals (this is for a left hand drive 300zx)

Yup your right was just curious because I took the car to the dealership and they said it wasn’t that but yeah that’s it

Do z32s have OBD1 in addition to the OBD2 I already know they have? I've been wondering about a plug that sounds like the one k9fire is mentioning and had figured it may have been OBD1, but hadn't gotten around to checking yet

its the consult plug, consult is Nissan's proprietary diagnostic and programming system.

OBD 1 was used for 300zx’s before 1996. The 1996 models use OBD 2 I believe. Most cars made after 1996 have OBD 2, though, some vehicles in 1995 had them, 300zx’s didn’t until 1996.
