I think this thing might have been leaking... or maybe the water pump was leaking onto it giving an illusion that it was leaking. What is this?!?!?!

Im pretty sure it is a drain plug for coolant, but i thought it was leaking so we tried to take it out but it will not break free so im scared lol. I dont think it moved at all but now im paranoid that we even tried to loosen it i feel like it could cause problems

Show us a pic of the mating surface of the water pump.

I don't think that plug is leaking. I think it was coming from the pump, as the mating surfaces in that area are really not very good (from what I can tell via pics).

Nope.

I'd clean it real good with a wirewheel on a drill and some brake cleaner and smear some JB Weld around it.

Seriously.

I did that on a freeze plug on my old Q45, since replacing it would have meant pulling the engine. Held up for 7 years.

I even ask nissan tech and he didnt know. I thought about doing gasket sealer over it but that not work long term. Did you use aluminum type jb stuff?
