What is this and where does it go? It came with my SR20DET swap.

I am not sure it came in my front clip but it was disconnected and the plug for it was wrapped in electrical tape. I think it has something to do with the automatic transmission versions of the sr20det but not sure. My car seems to run fine without it.

Hey biglipzit, was it on the engine still?

My SR motor set is missing something on the very bottom of the engine right by the transmission, and it's got two bolt holes that look like it can hold that. Here's a pic to better describe where:

Is that what it is located?

dont worry about it. its a resistor used for one of the electrical systems in the RHD JDM car. it means nothing to your motor.

and no it didnt bolt there, its bolt up in the shock tower area where OUR wiper motor would be, but its where THEIR throttle cable pops out into the engine bay

That hole pointed out needs a dust cover, when your engine is assembled with the transmission you will notice that you can see the flywheel through that area. I could be completely misenterpretting the last pic, but I just messed with a dust cover that had two bolts holding it on to the exact same area.
