What is this part that came with my car?

The salesman did not know what it was for at delivery time - it looks like a pedal cover of sorts? Anyone know? I am going to RTFM on the train on the way to work, maybe it's in there

It covers the shipping mount below the grill in the front of the car. It should have been installed in Port prior to delivery.

Mine wasn't installed either. The arrow attached to the piece points up and goes through a tab where the hole for the towing hook (at least I think that is what it is called) is on the lower part of the front bumper. It just snaps in place.

Cover for the tow hook opening. BTW can someone verify if the tow hook is the same size as the g35 coupe? I have the license plate adaptor and wanna still use it if I can.
