This is a picture of a specific part that my vehicle is missing. Does anyone know what it is?

This part has been missing from my Pathfinder since I've had it. I want to know what it is so I can buy one.

I don't mean to come across as a jerk, but there is not much to go on from that pic.
The quality is poor, and there is nothing around it to gain some sort of perspective as to where it is on the truck.
From what I can deduce, the grill to the left looks like the radiator, so my best guess is that the part you are seeing is a temperature sensor.
Not all trucks have them, as not all trucks have auto climate control, or an outside temp gauge on the overhead display.
Am I close?
Take some more higher resolution pics and post them up.

I take no offense, this part is in front of the grille and at the bottom. If you look though the front bumper were the front plate is you can see it. A temp gauge is a good start I'm going to look them up now.

Temperature sensor(s) would be right under the hood release mechanism and latch. Anything lower than that I don't recall, I'll have to take a look tomorrow if I remember.

I'm slowly but surely finding out what I'm really missing. I doubt my vehicle was manufactured without it because the cable is just hanging, so I know that part was once there. I'd take another picture with my digital camera, but this picture came from another Pathfinder that I saw today.

Just because a cable was hanging doesn't mean something should be there. I had two wiring harnesses unused which were for two temperature sensors.

Do you have both horns?

If the Pathfinder doesn't have auto A/C or the compass and thermometer, nothing should be plugged in there from the factory. The intake air temperature sensor is in a different place.

I don't have the compass or thermometer, I just have the sun-glass compartment. So, it looks like I have nothing to worry about.

Most of the "Options" for fully loaded model are already bundled into a single harness part# for the entire line so it is not uncommon for there to be connections that are unused for a particular trim level.

Not even too uncommon for the the harness to have connectors that are not even offered anymore in the lineup.. The cost to "re-tool" the harness assembly vs. just leave a .05 cent connector is something the very well trained beancounters tally all day long..

Greetings, I am new to the forum and followed this post regarding my rebuilt Nissan Titan '12

My outside temperature display slowly cycles, from 122+ down to 33- degrees. After an exhaustive search I think I am missing the ambient temperature sensor 27722-7s000. I traced the wires back (using NICO diagrams) and it seems that the previous owner removed the sensor, and is using these two wires to power the condenser fan (directly to the left).

I am wondering if I can buy the wiring harness, and attempt to replace the existing one. I am hoping that a replacement kit will have all of the intended plug receptacles and I can simply "plug" the appropriate devices (including the sensor which currently has no plug).

I am a novice, and I don't know if I am providing enough information, but I would greatly appreciate any help or advice. I am happy post pictures too if that helps.

All the Best, Nick
