What is this part? door / window / mirror jam?

1987 300zx / z31 body.

I'm trying to help my father source a part, but I'm even at a loss for keywords to search for...

It's the triangular assembly that the door windows roll into and door mirrors mount to. It can be seen in the top-right side of the photo http://s95014253.onlinehome.us...F.JPG(Robo, sorry for leeching from your great site!)

Anyway, he needs to find a replacement for both doors (dry-rot) and we at least need to know what to ask for. He is not the most computer savvy, and has had a tough time calling around trying to describe this thing.

wow thats an ugly door panel, I think you're the piece your talking about is called a sailpanel as as far as I know you'll be looking at the dealer or a junkyard

I think a sailpanel is the c-pillar interior cover. I could be wrong.

I'd email Danny's Datsuns, explain the part, and I'd bet he'll have one.
