Ok, I have a 1994 R32 RB26DETT motor.

I found this following picture of an RB26DETT motor posted by MODERN on http://www.240sxforums.com. His is an R33 RB26DETT, unmodified. Circled in the picture is what I am asking about. My motor does NOT have this. However, where this "thing" is located on the motor, I do have a C shaped hardline piece of tubing that goes no-where and serves no purpose. Am I missing something here??

looks like the fuel dampner, it smooths pressure pulses form the **** pump.

does the other end of that run to your injectors?

BTW, I don't have that fuel dampener, or atleast I think I don't. Needed or not? I am running the NISMO FPR with the Walbro 255HP......

Because the powersteering pump is NON-HICAS. The HICAS versions of the RB26 are only available in the R32s.
