What is this on the Header

Information on the naturally-aspirated KA24E and KA24DE engines.

yeah, thats what i was talking about. That usually connects to a metal tube, that goes to the egr unit. My egr unit is removed, and right where you have the circle, i have a plug in the threaded fitting. The unit would sit just to the right of the steering arm, if looking from this view.

The other egr is on the top middle left of that picture, that usually connects to a tube that wraps around the back of the engine. It is also plugged off.

The o2 sensor also has a similar bung, but thread size and pitch is different.

actually i believe its where the AIV is supposed to go not the EGR.

Yeah, probably is called the aiv unit, i wasnt really sure.
