I just drove my versa to orlando from NY , Let me add that the gas milage was excellent I got 617-650 miles on a tank I spent $68 dollars going and $88 coming back, I did the same trip various time in other cars and nun went under $140 one way. well anyway I got back and at 4,000 miles my (!) light came on what is it. does anyone know what it is? Another thing I wasn't happy with that swaying because of wind I've seen other threads on the same thing is Nissan looking in to this, what is the reason for this?other than that I'm happy with my versa. Thanks in advance

I don't have my Versa yet, but I have read the manual. Take a look at it, it will explain exactly under what conditions that light will come on.

there a good chance that it is the tires sensor that alot of people have problems with.

as far as the wind issue, alot of the b-platform cars have that issue. my sister Fit, is even less stable then the V. i hope lowering the car a lil will help that out.

First. I believe the ! is your parking brake indicator. Second, I find it difficult to believe you got over 600 miles on a tank of gas when I can only get about 450 kilometers. If it is true then there is something seriously wrong with my car.

Take it easy, I think he meant trip, not tank. $68 is too much money for 13.2 gallons, by far. It would cost about $40 at $3/gal (which I doubt is the case) and about $53 at $4/gal (which I really doubt is the case.

Welcome to TPMS hell.

Your TPMS sensor is out. Welcome to the club.

It is the initiation all Versa owners must go through before we are considered veteran owners.

Check out the TPMS threads for more info.

As others have mentioned, it is the warning light for your Tire Pressure Monitoring System (TPMS). You either have a system error (pretty common) or a tire that's low on air. Check the Versa Owner's FAQ for trouble-shooting information:

You got that right! TPMS hell. I bought mine in July and didn't have it a week and it came on and stayed on. I took it back to the dealer and they replaced a sensor in the wheel. So far no more problem but... I am waiting for it to act up again. It will. Total Pain in the A**. If I could figure it out I would totally disable it altogether. I never had it before and don't need it now. Welcome to the club is right!

Really think you should take your v in to shop marley. my car is currently at 425 kms and i still have a quarter tank to go. currently at 3k kms on car. i am 100% city driving, rarely over 80kms. unless you spend alot of time just sitting in traffic doubt you should be that far off on gas consumption.

In Canadian cars a red (!) means the parking break is on.

450km to a tank? I'm getting around 700km to a tank on average.

a yellow (!) means TPMS.a red one is brake-related.

Actually 700km is 32.9515027 mpg, for a full tank. It would only be over 40 if he filled up 10 gallons.

450km is about 280 miles, which I hit at about 12 gallons when I don't drive conservatively. If you are watching how you are driving, there might be something wrong with your car. To raise your MPG, you should simply drive more conservatively. My tanks range from about 280 miles to 400 miles, depending on how I drive.

First I apologize for the mileage I meant 417-450 the reason being 417-450cause I still had a little gas before refueling ( dont wanna run on empty in the middle of no where. I set the trip meter to --0-- and ended at 417 miles with still 1/8 left of gas what ever that little is. Also take to consideration it was all highway no traffic at night thats why it was a little different on the way back traffic and such.

Secound the (!) is yellow and seems to be the`TPMS I got a 7:30 appt tomorrow at nissan.

forth And yes I guess I am happy with my gas mileage I dont have a heavy foot like some of you may have

And last sorry for posting late I dont get notifications Till now, I changed that. Thanks for the comments Jose,

Oh yeah Jemdawg Thanx for sticking up for me

Yeah, I always end up waiting weeks for any work to be done on my car. They made me wait two weeks just to have them look at my car to order parts for it. Now I'm waiting for the parts to come in so I can set up another appointment, this way I can wait again. I went to 112 to look at the V, but I knew a guy at Smithtown, so I bought it there, especially because they were deadset on selling me an 06 Sentra instead at 112, because the V just came out.
