I was doing my weekly fluid check and tire pressure check today and i got my flashlight out to see if i had any leaks anywhere. I then saw "Caution Wear Gloves" and "Made In Usa" written on metal. I thought "That Isn't Right." So i reached for it and its some kind of expander tool. What is it used for?

It came from the area circled in red....

Just guessing, but possibly a really, really old oil filter removal tool? That would make sense why it was next to your intake manfold. Just a guess, though. Never seen one like it.

Thanks guys, found it just in time b/c its almost time to change my oil(300 more miles). And yes it still moves, and everything. Perfect. I think thats a great find. The lady had the oil changed at a quick lube right before i bought it, so they probably left it there.

Reminds me of auto shop. I came home and installed some stuff after having it in auto shop a week previously. My 2 friend helped me work on it. I brought home 2 extensions, o2 socket, a few wrenches, and some other tool sin my engine bay. So don't let friend work on your can unless they know what they are doing and put tools back.
