What is this clip for? PIC!

It located right behind the glove box and it clips into the upper harness right by the ECU. On a 90 its a white plug but on this 91 its brown and does not clip on to my SR harness. Heres a pic



The white clip is the one thats running off of the ecu plug. See the brown clip. On my old 1990 s13 its a white plug, but on this 1991 its a brown plug. What am I supposed to do?

Thats for the dash gauges and start signal. You have too splice like 5 of the wires together for it to work. Look up a sohc to dohc swap guide for exact colors.

Is that the only difference? Is the dash light gauges/ starter signal?
