Hey guys i'm in the middle of replacing the bushings in my s14 subframe with conversion bushings so it will fit on my S13 properly. I had a piece fall off when we were heating the old bushings out and figured it was time to replace those too...

I need to know the name of this piece or a good company that I can order new ones from, or even a way to make the old one(s) work...

Here's some photos:

Here is a picture of the piece installed on the subframe still (It's the rubber block):

The pic is with the subframe upside down for bushing removal. If the subframe were attached to the car, this would be close to the frame rail and close to the driver/passenger door(s).

Here is the same piece, but fallen off...:

Thanks..

Plenty of USDM 240's have hicas.

My NON hicas s13 rear subframe has those pieces as well, haven't gotten around to figure out the significance of them yet though

No such thing as a HICAS S14.....

Those blocks of rubber are just vibration absorbers. They don't do anything. I just kept mine on, might as well.

they do do something. They absorb vibration and make for a more comfortable ride... that's why nissan put them their. You don't actually NEED them though.

Thanks guys. These are the only rubber pieces still attached to my subframe so I'd like to replace them if possible. Any idea where to get them?

Just replace them by removing them, what does it attach to?
