What is this button?

Hello,
I just purchased a 2011 Nissan Murano SV with 30K. I've familiarized myself with all the bells and whistles on the dash. However, I can't figure out what the button in the picture is for. It's not in the manual. It does light up red and you can push it. Doesn't seem to do anything that I can tell. Thanks for looking!

Congrats on the new-to-you Murano!

It doesn't look factory to me. Are you sure it's a button? My first guess would be an indicator for an aftermarket alarm - but if it's a button... maybe fog lamps? Look for other non-factory add-ons for clues.

It is both from what I can tell. I found an Avistart 4103 installed. I don't have the remote, so I'm gonna have it removed and put another system in. The install of the Avistart doesn't look very good.
