HI,

I would like to know what is the "with run down protection" that is in the brochure for the versa, I forgot to ask the dealer and I am curious. Is it like something that prevent your battery to run out if you forgot your lights on your car? How it work. Do I have something to do special if the run down protection have been triggered?

Thanks for the info

Last summer I turned on the parking lights on my 07 Vesa SL, started a timer, and sat in a lawn chair next to the car. At the end of 4 minutes the lights went out.. The ignition was OFF and locked.. This test does not work for the hatch door light. It stays on indefinitely. This feature was meant to save drivers who park their cars and leave the lights on.

I thought it was protection for the person you are trying to run over after cutting you off.
