Ok i have this rear window antenna but is it for the radio or the phone that some q45's came with?

and if someone breaks the rear glass will i lose the rear window antenna or will they have glasses at any glass shop with the built in antenna?

The FM system uses two antennae to cover vetical and horizontal polarization ..................many FM stations transmit both polarities however when a signal bounces of a building it inverts polarity. The Bose system listens for the stronger signal whether from glass or rod.

The rear glass is extremely specialized a dealer only item due to complexity and uv coating..........more than $1000.............never seen one broken in 17 years except by bullets
