I think my I30 engine is misfired when it is hard to start. The cranking sound tell me. The starter try to start the engine, but fail to start and crank again 3~4 times. After that, it starts. I don't know how to describe the crank sound. I replaced spark plugs, a starter, alternater, battery, ignition switch, fuel pump relay, coolant temp sensor and even fuel filter to repair the hard starting problem but all of them isn't helpful at all. Even I don't know what the problem is. Now I think that I have to give up and time to go to dealer. What else I can do?

Thanks.

mm, well I would try cleaning out your throttle body.. and replace the PCV valve..

Misfires sound like "blum blum blum" and the whole car like jolts/rocks around all nasty.. at least thats how my buddies Jetta was
