Just saw this thread. Its exact name is "Weather Strip Assembly - Roof Header." Part number has been revised 2 times.cellogig wrote:that runs along the top of the windshield and where the rests on after the rag-top is latched closed.
There are 2 hooks that go to the windshield frame. Right? If you look at them carefully, they are threaded. You can adjust the length by turning them. If you make them short, top will close tight and you won't have leak anymore. But, BE CAREFUL. If you make them too tight, something might break. If the hook hits the bottom and doesn't go in anymore, you can take it out and grind off the end of it a little bit. Use WD-40 or PB Blaster when you adjust the hooks.cellogig wrote:I am having leakage problems!!! I think its because the gasket is worn. Thank you again!!!
Yup! and IIRC, you have to remove side ones on A-pillars too. Healiner trim is definitely not available. Not sure about A-pillar covers. Well, coupe, vert and hatch A-pillar covers might be the same, but never checked.cellogig wrote:Which interior panels. Are they plastic and located right below the weather stripping?
You can squeeze loctite under the seal to push it up a little. You know what I mean?cellogig wrote:I believe the weather seal has been smashed down over the years and has lost some rigidity. Like a wonder bread sandwich if sat on.
Vert has unique A-pillar covers, but I'm pretty sure they're all interchangeable. USDM coupe/hatch A-pillar cover is slotted for automatic seatbelts.94_240sx wrote:Well, coupe, vert and hatch A-pillar covers might be the same, but never checked.
