What is the name of the engine
I have a 1987 240sx and I was wondering what the name of the engine is for the shoc version if the engine is it ka24 or ka24e??Please help

i don't think there was a 87 240sx. but a sohc motor is a ka24e.

If the car is a 1987 then it is a 200SX not 240. The engines of that year were:CA20E 2L I4, 102@5200rpmCA18ET 1.8L I4 turbo, 120@5200rpmVG30E 3L V6 [email protected] strange to have a 3L in a 200SX but nissan had the SR in the 180SX for years too.
If you typoed the year and meant 1997 then the engine is a KA24DE
