What is the model name of the M45 in japan?

I am not sure of the answer! I seem to remember that it was shown in auto shows as the "Nissan Fuga", although I am not certain if it has been released as a available-for-purchase model over there.

Can any of our Japan resident members comment?

Ah so, it's a Fuga with the VQ35DE only available in JDM.

V35 is the correct chassis name for the G35. The Mx5/Fuga is a Y50.

Actually, I was quite surprised to learn that you CAN get the VK45DE in the Fuga.
