not sure if anyone will know but is it a coupe, fastback, 89-90, 91-94. I know it wont be a s14. Probebly not an SE either. Those rear windshield wipers and cruise control can get heavy.

I think so too, im sure the huge rear windshield doesnt help us hatch owners.

probably not. I also think the sunroof on the highest part of the car doesn't help either, but is nice in the summer with my a/c, power windows, and passenger side mirror I don't have to reach over and adjust. I bought a base 89 coupe because I thought it was the lightest and have a silvia conversion in my room.

yeap, its the 89 base coupe with power nothing, no cruise, no pw, no pl, no abs, no sun roof, no tail and no hicas. I think its about 100 -120lbs lighter then a fully loaded hatch. dont quote me on those numbers though, I have one and if i had to buy another 240sx id get a coupe with PW's at least... sucks having to roll down your windows...

Ya i just finished putting my 89 SE to sleep but transplanted the twin cam to an 89 non-SE. just trying to find reasons to like the non-SE. Both are hatches. No power anything sucks. But i guess i saved a few pounds, not that i will notice a difference.

To get picky its actually a 90 coupe, they changed minor things from first year run, mostly under the bay, added a few extra holes in the bay itself and took away a few misc. brackets that weren't needed/could be used by something else.

Which is exactly what I have =P

Its just too bad they only have Hatches here in Europe. We have to deal with bloated wobbly S13's, makes me miss my car back in the states.

Curb Weight is the actual weight of the vehicles without any passengers or cargo in it. It’s the base weight that is used in subtraction to calculate the total weight of the vehicle with passengers and cargo.

Amazing site. And I still don't believe that the hatch is significantly heavier or flimsier than the coupe. I suspect the actual difference would be tough to measure.

Edit: On closer inspection I think he copied and pasted the 89/90 tech info.
