Hello,
I have a 2008 4 door with the factory HID's. Does anybody out there know what the K is on the factory HID's?
I am thinking about changing the bulbs and I was wondering what K would you guys recommend to change to? I am thinking I might go with the 6000k
Any comments/suggestions is appreciated.
What is the K on the Altima Factory HID's?

4200-4300k is factory. I would not go higher than 6000k if replacing them.

the first kit I did in my old car was 4500k and I was disappointed in the color (too yellow), so I went with 6000k on this car and I love it.

I really like the look of 5000K (I got the xentecs). I also don't think they are "pure white". To me the light has a pretty distinct bluish hue, especially in the reflection seen from the side in the housing. I'm glad I didn't go 6000K because I think I would have thought it was too blue for my tastes.
