wow 30K that is quite early.alonsorules8 wrote:It is recommended to replace the A/T fluid at 30k miles according to your owners manual.
The service manual states there is 8 3/8 qt of A/T fluid in the transmission and recommends using Genuine NISSAN Matic “D” ATF (ContinentalU.S. and Alaska) or Canada NISSAN Automatic Transmission Fluid *2.
those sound like more reasonable numbers.alonsorules8 wrote:Not for regular A/T that is the average mileage interval for most auto makers including Chevy, Ford, Honda Nissan, and Kia.
When I was working for GM if you went over 75000 miles and never had the transmission fluid flushed we would not do a transmission service due to the risk of having the seals leak.
Now if you own a CVT the recommended interval change is at 60,000 miles.
few more miles and I guess I will flush my coolant out then.br4dysays wrote:i have a 4spd auto & have about 51k on it now.
