I catch myself looking online for some cars as far as 250 miles, and others only 30 miles.

Even at 30 miles, you could be going SOUTH for 30 miles, then 30 miles NORTH of your home for a SIXTY mile run.

What is the farthest you have gone to look at or buy a car? and what model?

About 2 years ago when the new body style Escalade came out they were next to impossible to find in pearl white with the black leather loaded with every option. I live in vegas and was looking in Cali, Utah, AZ, and the surrounding states with no luck....I looked on Autotrader and found one at a dealer in South Carolina, since I'm a dealer as well the deal was pretty easy but I am so picky about my vehicles that my wife and I flew down there just to make sure it was as described, we bought it with about 1500 miles on the odo it was in perfect condition and we took 4 days and drove it back to Vegas....it was a nice little trip. Ended up keeping it for about 6 months sold it and made almost 10k.....good times

Jan 2006 1100 miles Macon GA to Oklahoma City. 2004 M45 got caught in a blizzard with 23,000 miles on the original Bridgestones. Pretty wild ride for the first 200 miles

Seattle to Brooklyn. 1995 Q45t with $26K miles in 2002. Well worth it. Never driven in winter.

Hello,I drove 750 miles to pick up my 2004 M45 in Knoxville, TN (Harper Infiniti). While there were many 2003's in Florida at the time, there were very few 2004's. Also, the Technology Package was a must. I did not realize how useless the ICC system is though. Thank goodness you can defeat the ICC system as desired.

While the only real difference between the 2003 and the 2004 models is the CD changer location, it honesty made me seek out 2004's exclusively. Furthermore, I really wanted a CPO and 2004 was the only year available at the time. I am still amazed that mine seems to be the only Desert Platinum Y34 on this forum. Not a popular color I must say. Cheers,ML

Car: '04 black/black loaded

Post

In April I found one on Autotrader in Virginia. '04 black on black loaded with low miles still under original factory warranty. I flew from Fort Lauderdale Fl to New Port News Virginia to get it. I drove it home with 21k on the ODO. I put on about 1100 in my strait through 14 hour drive home. Car has been great with no problems at all.
