there is no factory red cover rb25.

You are mistaking the RB25 with the RB20. The early RB20 came in the r31, it had red cam covers, a top mount intercooler and a totally different ECU. Don't buy a "red top" RB20, at least get a "silver top" with "RB20" written on the upper timing cover, or preferrably the latest "silver top" RB20 which does not say "RB20" on the upper timing cover.exodus5547097 wrote:what is the difference between red and silver head cover on the rb25det motor?
