I wanted to purchase a Greddy Type S but was told they discontinnued making those last year. The type RS replaces the type s and has been for a while now. No big deal I will order the type RS only to find out there were no adapters for recirculating. I checked with several of our sponsors same answer. It hasn`t been on back order for a few weeks but 4 months! Dam, what would be a good replacement BOV that can be circulated?

hks allows it so long you buy the adapter also

I had the greddy type S and I'll tell you riight now its adjustment screw has a bad design. The hat (purple part) is soft and after about 10 adjustment or so, the thread will be damaged. I was having boost leak from there. So I sold the damn thing.

but everyone have hks, greddy or blitz. If I can do it again, I'd try sard or apexi, I believe they can be recirculated but you should double check

The shop that is going to replace my old bov recommended HKS Racing BOV Type 1. It end up costing me a few more bucks because the Dam flange was expensive. Tired of the car stalling out all the time.

umm maybe im not making sense, but I have the Greddy Type RS that came with the IAP kit and there was a recirculating fitting there. My friend found a set of them online on ebay with various size tips for various hose sizes.

You can buy different springs. I purchased the Red spring rated 12psi to 18psi.

I had the H34 and it was a peice. It got stuck open and leaked on WOT. I junked it and got the JGS JGS340SBV unit. It is a pull type unit so it can not leak under wot. It is pretty heavy so it must be made really well it seems. It is so much better and spools faster since it does not leak.

I have heard many stories of the RFL model leaking at anything past 10psi. But I have no first hand experience. Also, I have found the RS recirculation kit at many different places.

You want the bypass valve, not the RFL, which doesn't leak by the way.

Yeah a lot of places sell the RS but not many even have on there web sites the adapters. I have called several places and everyone I called had no adapters. One place told me they had ordered last September and have not received them yet.

I guess my whole point is why would Greddy discontinue a old product that you could recirculate before pushing a new product that you can`t? The old one could either recirculate or leave open. The new one you need to buy adapters that Greddy hasn`t produce enough to supply venders
