recently when my car was in the shop the mechanic said I needed a new steering rack and that it would cost 1200, my power steering was leaking but not from the rack, it looked like it was leaking from the hose that connects to the pump from the reservoir so I replaced that and now my power steering feels real sluggish, there is delay between when I turn the wheel and the wheels respond, before it was really fast, it just leaked, ever since I got my car back I hate how it runs even though its "fixed". I liked it better when it was broken!

so what your saying, is you changed one of your power steering hoses?

did u bleed the system?

Straight from the FSM:

Bleeding Hydraulic System 1. Raise front end of vehicle until wheels clear ground.2. Add fluid to tank to specified level. Meanwhile quickly turn steering wheel fully to the right and left and lightly touch turning stoppers. Repeat steering wheel operation until fluid no longer decreases.3. Start engine. Repeat step two above with engine running.

basically you have to bleed the system anytime you do stuff like this, or air bubbles will be in the system and, well, anything ment to pump liquid wont work so well. kapeesh?
