The 67mm on my SR20 hits 20psi before 5500rpm so i know the Rb25 will spool it quite a bit faster than whats being shown.

RBTALLY wrote:yes stock cams... as for the rpm limit that motor has not been started in 3 years so I was a little easy on it ... once the nitrous is on in a few days I will put it back on the dyno and spin it on up... turbo is a little 67mm compared to the 114mm on my outlaw car.
I run a 67mm also (when my car runs) Whats the exhaust A/R? Mine is .68. I was seeing full boost right around (14 psi) 5 grand-5200. Maybe my cams, and 87mm bore and 26 crank played a roll more than I thought. Still awesome numbers for a little 240.

Shocker, your 67mm shouldnt be that laggy on a 2.5L. Is this on a 4th gear road pull or is this where your peak tq is made on a dynojet? With the 2.small i was logging 24psi @ 5600rpm and peak tq was showing at 6000rpm on the dyno. I think Riggs (blue underground motorsports RB25) was getting 34psi @ 5500rpm with his 67mm.

Riggs is also running a Billet 67mm now.

As for my car we never got to full add the timing we wnated in before we ran into engine/ecu issues that ended our runs and my year for my car. Search topics made by me you will see my thread.

4th gear pulls on a mustang dyno. From what I've seen the boost should come on harder if it had been raised a lot higher. I'll get back to you on the matter hopefully next spring. lol

Lol powerglide is the s*** for drag racing. Is it pretty doggy though just cruising around?

The new billet 67 seems pretty badass. Just about everyone is doing 800+whp on them with a proper setup. They still spool the same or a little slower than the normal 67mm though. Its still a cast turbine and its slightly larger turbine wheel from what ive read. They pack one hell of a punch though for the size.

if you can deal with climbing in and out of the car with the cage... the powerglide is a breeze to deal with... and 240 was built for street race and drag race

Yeah i can see that. Do you launch off a trans brake or foot brake? What do you stall at? How much boost does it build and how long does it take to build on the brake? Ive thought about going to a TH350 for my SR20 but the engine makes hardly any tq off boost so i figure it would be way too doggy to drive with a high stall.

that is why i am adding the nitrous... it is a dog out of the hole even off the thans brake.. stall is aroung 4000..

Ah ok. I can see nitrous really helping things out alot on a setup like yours.

On what engine ? Rb25 ? Thats a flat out lie if I ever heard one. I'm learning the hard way what an rb can do. 8k into an engine and i'm @ 500whp.... I have been told the blocks rip in half around 1000hp by two rep tuners???

I would love to see proof of an RB25 with more than 800whp in the US. stock or modified. Even 700whp, heck even >650whp.

I think I can put down 650 in a few weeks even through a auto transmition. still a stock motor... I wish someone would buy this thing so I would quit spending $ on it.
