I've heard of many ways to reset the ECU for SR20DET's but I want to know which one is totally correct.

I wish I had a FSM so I would know. I DL'd it but the program that opens it up says it's missing a part of the program or something.

I was wondering if anyone knows how to correctly reset the ECU so that everything is like an OEM stock SR20DET.

Sometimes the settings in the ECU can end up wrong and can only be changed by the dealership or mechanic CONSULT.

disconnecting the battery for an hour should zero out any short term "error codes" but if it was ROM tuned from the stock settings that's only reversable by retuning the ECU.

Cool..Thanks themadscientist. Any info on "retuning" the ECU?

My car is throwing code 55 at the moment...and hesitating...cause of the IACV I believe since I messed around with it.

I'm sure one of the other guys can point you in the direction of a shop that can do it. As a rule I don't let anybody touch my car so I don't know anybody I could recommend.
