I had a simple problem. I read that the stock MAf in my KA only holds up to 250 hp. Since I'm putting a T3 turbo and plan to run originally 10 lbs. of boost, I know I have to upgrade that. I hear a lot of people mention using a Z32 or a cobra MAF, so which one is more cost efficient. I am also running with an SAFCII.( I'm builing another KA with performance interior, so I'll run more than 400hp)

a striaght t3 might make 250rwhp at 10psi.

when you do exceed the 250rwhp mark the safc can tune for the z32 maf, this is what i am doing

Thanks. But that that mean that as long as I have my SAFC,, it becomes a matter of simply changing the part? I don't need any other sensors or adaptors?

a wideband would be key with tuning a SAFC II after you've upgraded the MAF

unless you have a dyno readily available to you

SAFC will be able to adjust for the Z32 MAFS. You should be able to watch airflow percentage on the SAFC to see if you're gonna even need a Z32.
