What is the cause of this?

Well this mainly happens in the morning but now its more often. Well when im driving I notice that the "E-brake" , "slip" and the "VDC" stays on and im not sure what that is, can anyone tell me?

You need to clarify a little better. By stays on do you mean the icons that light up in the gauge cluster? And do they turn off?

Yea the lights stay on, the E-brake never seems to go off the other ones go off and on mainly on.

Usually brake light staying on is brake fluid level. Im not sure about your car but it is a real easy thing to make sure your fluids are all topped off.Cheers
