Yeap, it is a trunk release.

There is the trunk release, but... if you have the Technology Package (which is sounds like you do), there is a button that will shut off your active headlights. The tech package comes with the headlights that sway left to right to help you see better in turns... If you don't want that feature, then you can push that button and it will keep your lights straight forward going into turns... I asked the same question to the dealer. Hope that answers your question.

You think of EVERYTHING don't you Suby! I pressed it as well and nothing happened so I asked, but you don't really notice until you're driving at night and you see the lights move left to right... Good thing it wasn't the new Ejection seat prototype that Infiniti has been tinkering around with!

that was a good one high 2 high 2but it also tells you on the dash "trunk open" warning you look good in your new infiniti.
