Newbie here. I own a G37x and somebody hit my bumper and left two tiny holes in it. Can anybody tell me what my bumper is made out of? Is it aluminum, fiberglass or plastic?

Also, how should I go about fixing it on my own? I have touch up paint, but have no idea how to patch it.

Lastly, if I don't fix it, would there be a chance that it would rust if the bumper is made out of aluminum?

Thank you in advance.

None of the above.

It's urethane.

No danger of rust, and unless you're really skilled in working with plastic filler, I'd leave it to a shop.

Patching and smoothing urethane is a skill. Matching / blending the paint is even tougher.

Aluminum bumper on G is the bumper core. Not the bumper skin. Am I correct?
