thanks man, ya i was at townfair and the guy said that they were only an $80 difference between the 4s or the t1r so idkMr. Music wrote:The T1R's are great, according to my brother. He has them on his Lexus IS, 225/35/19 up front and 235/35/19 out back. They are pretty quiet compared to the stock tires on his car (considering that they are an ultra high performance tire), and they have a GREAT grip. Also, he has the Proxes 4's on his 350Z. What he likes most about those is that they don't leave skid marks. Burnouts and drifts (and all the other crazy stunts he does in that car) leave no evidence; but the T1R's handle better. Shouldn't be a big deal unless you are going to race. For my needs, I think the Proxes 4 is a better option because 1) its cheaper and 2)its an all season tire. Either way, you can't go wrong.
No worries, but remember that $80 difference per tire comes out to $320 when you buy all four. The only reason I would buy a set of the T1R's is if the Proxes 4's don't come in the size you need/want. But then again, if you have the extra money to spend, the T1R's look better, and they are Toyo's best street tires.mmadore118 wrote: thanks man, ya i was at townfair and the guy said that they were only an $80 difference between the 4s or the t1r so idk
Absolutely. it all depends what type of driver you are and how you drive and the conditions you drive in. For Me, since I do a lot of highway driving, I'm going with the Falken Ziex 912. They have a decent QUTG rating and they are asymetrical which means I can rotate them unlike directionals which can only be rotated from front to back. But like generic said, it's totally up to you.generic808 wrote:The "best" tires are those which YOU think are the best. There is no absolute answer to this question because everyone has their own preferences in what makes for a good tire. I personally think Falken makes the best "bang-for-the-buck" tire out there. But that's just me and I'm sure many will disagree.
If you have alot of money, then go with these Goodyear Eagle F1 DShttp://www.tirerack.com/tires/...ing=Tmmadore118 wrote:well i know that its all what we like, but i just wanted to know if anyone heard something that we should all stay away from.
