What is the best replacement carburator for a Z24 720?

I have an 85 720 with the Z24 motor that needs a replacement carburetor. The thing is though, I need it to be cheap as well as reliable. Where can I get a good cheap carb for the truck? I've also been hearing that replacing the old Hitachi carb for a Weber is a good idea, but what is the benefit? I currently use the truck in Latin America to off road.

The weber lets you clean up the bay alot. your air cleaner will be tiny compared to stock. More fuel with the Weber, and I think I only have 2 or 3 vacuum lines.
