What is the best MAF for my NA DE powered 92 HB?

Information on the naturally-aspirated KA24E and KA24DE engines.

Hey guys my engine build is coming to an end and I need to choose the right path for my MAF. But with all the previous posts I am a little confused.

SO CAN YOU HELP ME OUT?

has anyone threw the z32 tt maf option by you yet? it is proven capable of withstanding 500+ hp. obviously you will have to have a rom tune because your computer will not recognize it.. http://www.rs-enthalpy.com will take care of that

yep, but too be fair N/A you're not going to flow enough air to need anything over stock/

you'd be better off just spending that money on fueling. the enthalpy might be overkill just yet, but if you need to throw money at something, by all means do it up.

you'll run out of injectors about 100 horsepowers before you run into a MAF restriction

The only need to replace the stock MAF is when the airflow is maxed out. They can easily support 225-250 hp, so a stock one should work for your NA setup.

unless your like me and hate the 3" to 2" design of stock. I just had to hack a different one with stock meter. Works like a charm.

OK thanks for your help.

One more thing, do you still have yours in the stock location or is it closer to the intake manifold?
