Does anyone know what the stock 0-60 time is for a 300zx NA and/or turbo? I ask this because I may be selling my Integra, but not sure of the "power gains" I will be making. I know the Z has 222 hp (NA) stock or 300 hp (TT) stock, and is a V6, but the 0-60 on my teg is about 6.5-7 seconds... not badAnyway, does anyone know?

0-60 on an N/a 2-seater Z32 would be a smidge faster than your GS-R ... quarter mile would be 15 flat or a little higher

0-60 on a TT 5spd, would be around 5.4-5.6 seconds, with the quarter being anywhere in between 13.9-14.2

bolt-ons really wake up either engine (more so for the TT obviously) and either stock would have no problem with a GS-R in the 1/4, Ive seen a guy with an N/A 2+2 automatic with just I/H/E run 14.8

88mm Wisecos on stock rods, stock heads w/ 5 angle valve job, Garrett GT25BB turbos, 740cc injectors, Greddy Intercoolers, dual pop intake, JWT ECU, split downpipes, testpipes, Greddy SP exhaust.

Lots of both money & time. I am getting close to spending as much on upgrades as I did for the car. It would be much, much more if I didn't do all of the work (other than machining) myself.

nice, what kind of hp you think you are running? if i can find cheap enough insurance (less than $300/month), and i get a ZTT, then I will probably just do a chip, hks hiper exhaust, new filters, little **** for now. got quoted $385/month for full coverage on a 1992 300zx TT, but that's on my PARENT'S policy with no tickets or accidents, EVER. i am 18, but shouldn't be THAT expensive in my parents name. how old r u, and what insurance do u have?

I am expecting to be around 500WHP, but I haven't gotten it tuned yet (block is getting rebuilt right now). I'm quite a bit older (29), and pay $145 a month for full coverage on the Z as my secondary car, and for liability on my 91 Eagle Summit, which is my DD. I highly recommend getting a DD or a beater so you don't have to drive your Z all the time, especially in the winters up there in CT ;)

the Z would be my DD from like april-oct, then by next winter i'd get a piece of **** for winter

any recommendations on what year i should get. my mother is wondering why i would sell my 94 integra for a car that is 2 years older than that. won't age itself start making it fall apart, even if it's garaged a lot. i just donm't want to buy a Z and have it start falling apart on me. id do "drive" my cars too, don't really burn out or do donuts that often, just drive fast all the time, esp curvy roads - can an older Z handle the stress?

a gs-r would be definitely capable of 14.8 with i/h/e. Don't overlook the b18c. It's a good engine with tons of potential

No GSR will ever compare to a TT Z.Just the style of the Z alone puts the Acura to shame [IMO].Then there is the fact that the Z is RWD and much more powerfull.

Don't get me wrong a GSR is a great car, just not on the same page as the 300zx TT.

Good Luck getting a 300zx, I know if you get one you wont regret it.;)

Im glad to find this thread Ive recently been changing my mind between an NA Z and an S14. The problem is that Ive always loved the Z, but Im not too knowledgeable in the Z area and since I just got into an accident a lil more than a month ago, the insurance would be high whether I got the NA or TT. I havent gotten any tickets yet so that helps a lil bit. Now what I want to know is how expensive is it to turbo the NA? I have more questions but I gotta leave right now. Ill ask them later.
