What is that part, and where does that go?

Hey guys,
Anybody know what that part is right below the brake fluid reservoir? The black box thingy. I was replacing the throttle body when I found a vacuum line coming from it that doesn't seem to have a home. It's the one with the red line on it in the picture. Any suggestions? Thanks

A little bit of google-fu told me that's a breather for the brake system. Odd cause I can't find a part number or anything for it. Do you have cruise control and if so, does it work properly? Because it looks a lot like the cruise control vacuum reservoirs I'm finding.
